About the place
Kempings NORAS is a modern retreat in Mērsrags, on the shore of the Gulf of Riga — where the pine forest meets a white sand beach and a wide sea horizon. Calm and nature come together for slow days, quiet mornings and time with the people you love.
A place made for unhurried breakfasts, seaside sunsets and meals cooked in the open air — where being close to nature is the whole point.
Cabins & grounds
The camping has a large outdoor terrace with lounge chairs to hide from the sun and enjoy a drink, and a dedicated fire pit next to it. A spacious playground for kids is visible from every cabin. Pets are welcome. The grounds are fully fenced. Parking is available on site.
On the site you'll also find a public landmark — the Mērsrags Lighthouse. To visit it, please call the Mērsrags information centre at +371 25689070.
Our cabins sleep up to 4 guests and have everything you need for a slow, comfortable stay: a double bed plus a double mattress in the upper loft, bed linen and towels included, a private shower and WC, and a small kitchenette with a fridge, dishes and kettle. Each cabin has its own outdoor terrace with a hammock, a grill, skewers and firewood.
Cooking is part of the fun here. A dedicated outdoor kitchen area with gas stoves lets everyone prepare their favourite meal and enjoy it together in the fresh air — from slow breakfasts to sunset dinners.
Kempings NORAS offers private sauna and hot-tub time — a perfect way to warm up after a walk by the sea and unwind in the evening. In total we have 4 saunas and hot tubs available on request with prior reservation.
